Ecommerce support inbox on a laptop next to a desk phone that still needs a human

Does Re:amaze answer the phone?

A person on a partner dialer can. Re:amaze’s Voice Channels help page (read 19 September 2026) connects Aircall, RingCentral, JustCall, or AT&T Office@Hand. Features vary by provider — recordings and voicemail on Aircall; in-app dialer, accept/reject, and auto-log on RingCentral; make/receive plus logging on JustCall and Office@Hand.

The Re:amaze AI Agent does not, on the pages we verified the same day. That agent is documented on chat, email, and SMS — FAQ articles, templates, custom context, Shopify or WooCommerce order lookup. Re:amaze’s 2026 product post AI Agent for Customer Support: Now Supports SMS added SMS and email next to chat. Neither page says the AI Agent answers Aircall or RingCentral. Confirm with Re:amaze if that changes.

Shoppers used the widget. Then they called. Does Re:amaze pick up — or does a person on Aircall?

Open the Voice Channels help page

Voice Channels (Aircall, RingCentral, AT&T Office@Hand, JustCall) is the evidence, not a marketing adjective.

Aircall pulls recordings and voicemails into the contact. RingCentral adds an in-app dialer, accept/reject, auto-log, click-to-call. JustCall and Office@Hand cover make/receive plus logging the same way. That is a real workflow: written work in Re:amaze, humans on a logged line.

Re:amaze also documents custom voice channels that send (POST) call events into the inbox. That is still a human or third-party dialer writing a log — not an AI agent answering the store number.

It is the same shape as Richpanel + Aircall / Consio, or Gorgias + Consio / Ringly: desk for tickets, partner for the line.

Verdict: Re:amaze phone is human telephony next to the inbox. A published-plan agent that answers the store number is a different product — the second row in the table below — not a missing Re:amaze voice product.

Where the AI Agent is actually documented

Re:amaze’s AI Agent overview is explicit about channels: chat, email, and SMS. You toggle which SMS and email channels it is active on. Voice is not on that list.

If agents already love Re:amaze chat and SMS, and a logged human line closes the phone gap, stop at the dialer. You are not missing an “AI voice product” that Re:amaze forgot to mention on those pages. You are choosing whether two products (inbox + dialer) are the job.

After the shopper hangs up the widget

The pain that sends people here is specific. The AI Agent already handled the order in chat and SMS. Then the shopper called, and a person — or voicemail — had to invent the answer again.

Guzli trains once on help articles and solved tickets from Salesforce, Zendesk, or the desk you keep, publishes the storefront widget, and forwards the existing number — always, or only after hours / busy / no-answer. Handoff opens a ticket in Salesforce, Zendesk, or Guzli’s help desk. Guzli is not a Re:amaze replacement. It is the front line when you want chat and the call on one brain.

Stay on Re:amaze when the inbox is the win

Re:amaze + Aircall / RingCentral / JustCall / Office@HandMulti-brand chat and email are the desk. Humans on a logged line are enough. Two products are fine.
Guzli in front of Re:amazeYou need the same answers on chat and the call. Keep Re:amaze as the inbox.

Keep Re:amaze either way when that helpdesk is why the team works. Guzli does not replace that inbox. If you already pay Aircall or RingCentral and after-hours coverage is a person or voicemail, that cost stays until you forward the number.

FAQ

Does Re:amaze answer the phone with AI?+

Not on the pages we verified on 19 September 2026. Phone is a partner channel for human agents: Voice Channels connects Aircall, RingCentral, JustCall, or AT&T Office@Hand. The AI Agent overview lists chat, email, and SMS — not those voice partners. Confirm with Re:amaze if that changes.

Does Guzli replace Re:amaze?+

Usually no on the desk. Yes on the need for a separate phone AI if you want website live chat and the inbound call on one published-plan agent while Re:amaze stays the inbox. Handoff can open a ticket in Salesforce, Zendesk, or Guzli’s help desk.

What do Aircall, RingCentral, JustCall, and Office@Hand actually add?+

They add a logged human line next to the inbox. Aircall pulls recordings and voicemails into the contact. RingCentral adds an in-app dialer, accept/reject, auto-log, and click-to-call. JustCall and Office@Hand cover make/receive plus logging. Custom voice channels that send call events into the inbox are still a human or third-party dialer writing a log.

If I already pay Aircall, is that Re:amaze AI on the phone?+

No. Aircall separately documents its own AI Voice Agent on Aircall call flows. That is Aircall’s product, not the Re:amaze AI Agent on chat, email, and SMS. A log of an Aircall call in Re:amaze does not mean the Re:amaze AI Agent answered.
