Guzli vs Drift

Guzli vs Drift is two products and two futures. Drift is playbook-driven B2B website chat now inside Clari + Salesloft — Salesloft is gradually sunsetting it and referring existing clients to 1mind. Guzli is no-code website chat plus on-site voice plus inbound receptionist plus outbound on one knowledge base and one published bill. Hobby is $49 chat only. Voice starts on Standard. Guzli does not replace Salesloft cadences, ABM targeting, or Salesforce routing. The table’s third column is Intercom Fin.

Quick verdict: Choose Guzli if you want no-code website chat plus on-site voice plus inbound and outbound on one published bill, and you will not ask it to replace Salesloft. Choose Drift (or 1mind) if playbooks, ABM, and the Salesloft contract are still the job this quarter. Choose Intercom Fin if you need a blended sales-plus-support inbox.

How to decide between Drift and Guzli

Use a short pilot with real traffic, then validate action workflows, escalation quality, and measurable outcomes like deflection and lead capture.

Who this is for

  • Support teams comparing Guzli vs Drift for real workflows
  • Teams that want an AI chatbot for customer support and lead capture
  • Teams that need AI actions like Shopify order lookup and scheduling inside chat

Who this is not for

  • Teams that only want live chat and no automation
  • Teams that need a full helpdesk suite inside the same tool
  • Teams that are not ready to pilot, measure, and iterate

Switch from Drift to Guzli

Use this checklist to migrate with minimal risk. Run a parallel pilot first, then switch once answers, escalations, and AI actions are stable.

Migration Steps

  1. 1
Decide what stays on Salesloft or moves to 1mind — Guzli does not replace cadences, ABM, or Salesforce routing
  2. 2
Connect Guzli to the website plus Drive, OneDrive, Box, Dropbox, and Zendesk, Intercom, HubSpot, Notion, or SharePoint tickets so chat and voice train once
  3. 3
Rebuild the visitor-facing answers and named-tool actions (Shopify, Stripe, Calendly/Cal.com, HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, WhatsApp, Zapier/Make, custom API) — do not lift a playbook node for node
  4. 4
Turn on website chat; add on-site voice and a number only on Standard or Pro
  5. 5
Run a short parallel pilot. Keep Salesloft or 1mind for pipeline. Switch the site widget once answers and escalations are stable

Guzli vs Drift: the short version

TL;DR: Two products, two futures. Drift is the playbook-driven B2B sales-chat platform now inside Clari + Salesloft. On 5 March 2026 Salesloft announced the gradual sunset of Drift and an exclusive referral of existing clients to 1mind as successor — no hard EOL date. Guzli is no-code website chat plus on-site voice, inbound receptionist, and outbound on one knowledge base and one published bill. The third column is Intercom Fin, the blended sales-plus-support inbox. Guzli does not replace Salesloft. Stay on Drift or move to 1mind if pipeline playbooks are still the job.

Last updated: August 2026.

Two products, two futures

Drift was never a helpdesk and never a phone receptionist. It was conversational marketing: playbooks that qualify visitors, serve content, and book meetings. Bionic answers from ingested content, then hands into those playbooks. Conversational AI / Bionic-class AI sits on Enterprise in the 26 July 2024 upgrade matrix. The current Salesloft Chat Agents page says “We’ve transitioned from Drift to 1mind.” status.salesloft.com still listed Drift Chat, Email, and Video as Operational on 28 August 2026. Bionic and Custom chatbot URLs still rendered. That is a gradual sunset with no hard end date — not a product that went dark.

Guzli is the other future: one agent on the site and the phone. Hobby is chat only. Voice starts on Standard. The table is Guzli | Drift (legacy / sunset) | Intercom (Fin) — not a ten-tool listicle.

Pricing model honesty

Guzli Hobby is $49/mo chat only, 1,000 chat credits. Standard is 12,000; Pro is 40,000. Overages billed; the bot stays up. Voice starts on Standard: $149 + 16¢/min (transfer 5¢). Pro: $499 + 14¢/min. No per-seat. See Guzli pricing.

Drift has no public dollar price list on fetched Salesloft pages as of 28 August 2026. We will not publish invented list prices. The Pricing FAQ (last modified 12 March 2025) is the sourced model: all plans include one seat; Free cannot add seats; Premium extra seats billed annually; plans named Free / Premium / Advanced / Enterprise. A startup program exists (under $15M funding, under 50 employees, org under 5 years) — pricing shared after accept, 10 seats, no public dollar amount.

Intercom Fin is seats plus outcome fees. That column exists so you can compare a suite inbox, not so this page becomes Guzli vs Intercom.

What Guzli actually is

Unified inbox: Email, Chat, Voice, Slack, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook. Knowledge from the website plus Google Drive, OneDrive, Box, Dropbox and Zendesk, Intercom, HubSpot, Notion, or SharePoint tickets. Auto-create tickets. Knowledge self-improves (no invented %). Named tools: Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Stripe, Calendly/Cal.com, Zendesk, HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, WhatsApp, Zapier/Make, custom API.

Guzli is the front line. It is not Salesloft, not an ABM platform, and not a Salesforce router.

The Salesforce integration incident — supply chain, not “the website chat was hacked”

On 2 September 2025 Cloudflare documented a supply-chain incident: a threat actor obtained OAuth credentials for the Drift–Salesforce integration and exfiltrated data from customers’ Salesforce instances between 12–17 August 2025 (Cloudflare). That is not the same claim as “Drift chat was hacked on your website.” Salesloft’s Restoration FAQ said Salesforce-dependent routing skipped while integrations were offline. This is not a compliance row, and it does not imply Guzli is immune.

Where Drift is genuinely strong

Playbooks, account-based targeting, and Salesforce routing are why revenue teams bought Drift. Bionic is real AI on ingested content. If you still live in Clari + Salesloft and the job is pipeline, Guzli will not out-ABM Drift or 1mind. Stay, or take the successor referral.

Who should stay on Drift this quarter

Stay if playbooks, ABM, and the Salesloft contract are still the job; if status is still Operational for the surfaces you use; if 1mind is not yet evaluated and you have no hard EOL date. A sunset year is not the same as a dark product.

Who should switch

Switch the website front line to Guzli if you want chat plus voice plus inbound and outbound on one knowledge base and one published bill, and you will keep Salesloft or 1mind for cadences. Hobby cannot exercise voice. Trial Standard. If the job is still a voice API or a full Salesloft stack, this is the wrong page.
